I love net curtains in photography. The ones we have hanging at the windows are new additions to the studio, the ones we have to drape over people are old and well loved props.
I put one to good use on Sunday in this set with Sophie. Lit from behind me by window light with a White wall to the left and white V Flat to the right.
Sophie sat on a stool with a net curtain under her bum and pulled up her back and over her head. I then played around with the veil, pulling it around to frame her as I wanted. Shot on the 85mm lens at f1.6 for shallow depth of field.
I love this look. It’s so versatile and can be used for bridal portraits, boudoir or fashion shots. Have a try
