I always talk about treating your model as though they’re on a potters wheel. Turn them, or walk around them.
I showed you previously the images of Ana at the top of the stairs being cross lit. By walking around her and slightly down the stairs the light changes to a more backlit, contre jour, look. As well as putting most of her in silhouette and just concentrating on the highlights you get some soft lens flare from the light flooding straight into the lens from the window.
